Mr. Kofta was founded in 2021 by a husband-and-wife team with a passion for great food and a dream of sharing authentic Mediterranean cuisine with their community. What began as a small food truck quickly became a labor of love, built on hard work, family values, and a commitment to serving high-quality halal food.

From the very beginning, our goal was simple: create a place where people could enjoy fresh, flavorful meals made with care and integrity. Drawing inspiration from traditional Mediterranean recipes and generations of culinary traditions, we focused on using quality ingredients, authentic spices, and time-honored cooking methods to bring bold, memorable flavors to every dish.

Starting a food truck wasn't always easy. Long hours, early mornings, and countless days of preparation were all part of the journey. But with every customer we served, our passion grew stronger. The support and encouragement from our guests helped turn a small family business into something much bigger than we ever imagined.

As our reputation grew, so did our vision. We dreamed of creating a permanent home where families, friends, and visitors could gather to enjoy authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. After years of dedication and growth, that dream became reality with the opening of Mr. Kofta Mediterranean Grill in Asheboro.

Today, we continue to operate with the same values that inspired us from day one. We proudly serve 100% halal food made from fresh ingredients, premium meats, handcrafted sauces, and carefully selected Mediterranean spices. Every kofta, gyro, shawarma, wraps, kebabs, salad, and rice platter is prepared with the same attention to quality that helped us earn the trust of our customers from the very beginning.
